About

The part of life in Israel that doesn't need a translator

I was born and raised in Israel to English-speaking parents who made aliyah, so I grew up moving between Hebrew paperwork and English explanations. Today I work with English speakers from all over the world and handle the Israeli side of their finances from end to end: opening the right tax files, bookkeeping, filings, planning and representation when needed.

If you also have an accountant in your home country, I'm happy to speak with them directly, so advice from the two countries doesn't collide.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to open a tax file in Israel?

If you earn self-employed or business income here, generally yes. Most salaried employees don't need to open one themselves. It depends on your situation, which is exactly what we sort out on the free call.

Can you help if I already have an accountant abroad?

Yes, that's a very common setup. Your accountant back home keeps your filings there, I handle the Israeli side, and we talk directly when needed so the two sides line up.

Do you prepare tax returns for other countries?

No. I focus on the Israeli side. Returns abroad stay with your accountant there, and I coordinate with them.

Can you help with letters from the Israeli authorities?

Yes. Send me the letter, I'll explain in English what it means and what's urgent, and respond on your behalf.

How are your services priced?

There's no one-size package. After the free call you get a clear quote before any work starts.

What should I bring to the first call?

Nothing specific. Bring whatever you have: prior filings, business records, a letter from the Tax Authority. We'll figure out together what's needed.
